Each student was assigned a founding father to research. We then created a fake Facebook page called “Founderbook” that documented out time at the Constitutional Convention.  Students learned a lot about the convention, the delegates who were there, and the way life was during that time period.  To celebrate, each student dressed up as his/her founding father and we commenting on each other’s blog posts as our founding father.  We learned how to “speak like a founder” by studying the language that was used at that time.  We also took pictures in front of a green screen that put us in the actual room in Philadelphia where the convention took place (see pics below).  The students did a great job this year with Founderbook!
