Today I finished my electroscope. I tested it by rubbing a plastic bottle on a towel. When the bottle got close the tin foil started shaking. This is because when I rubbed the plastic bottle on the towel, it took all the Newtons from the atom. When the bottle got close the neutrons started to move away from the plastic bottle making the tin foil move.
