Do you like learning about different historical times? Well if you do, you would love to read about the Battle of the Gettysburg. I hope after you read this you will love it and want to read it.

In the book Battle of the Gettysburg a boy named Thomas and his little sister Birdie were born as slaves, but then his life changes. A person named Henry Green brings Thomas and Birdie to his place. But then Henry Green is called for battle in Pennsylvania, but will Thomas and Birdie Survive the Battle of the Gettysburg?

My favorite part of this book was when Henry Green brings Thomas and Birdie to a place that is not getting slaved and also somewhere that Thomas and Birdie were safe. I like it because it gives me happy memories. That is why it is my favorite part of the book.

I would give this book a five out of five stars because there is so much action and it is really fun to read. So l hope this made you want to read this book.
