Pax

In the book Pax by Sara Pennypacker, Pax is very brave.

One example is, Pax is living out in the wild all by himself and is willing to trust other foxes to survive like getting food or water. Pax has trusted Gray, an older fox to find water. He has also trusted Bristle and Runt to find eggs to eat which is one of Pax’s favorite foods.

I wonder if Pax will ever get betrayed by Bristle, Runt, and Gray and then Pax will not really have any food and then possibly die. But on the other hand I feel like Peter will find Pax and then everything will be back to normal again except Peter’s dad will probably still be working in the military.
