Interview – Capstone #3b

For my Capstone interview, I interviewed Albert Lewitinn. Albert Lewitinn is the head of CBSN. CBSN is an app that streams live news to smartphones. The reason I interviewed him was that the app changed the way people check their news, especially iPhones. The person who I was planning to interview at CBS said that I should interview him because he would give me more information on my topic, so I did. I thought that he was a great person to interview and he gave me a lot of information. One big quote that he said that really helped me is, “The phone has made people get news instantly where before your dad or your mom or me would have to come home and watch TV 9 o’clock or 8 o’clock or 6:30.  Now the phone makes it so that you have to have the news right away.  I need to have the news right away.  So that’s what changes things.”   He gave me all of the detail of every question I asked when he answered it. I also thought that it was a great first practice of interviewing someone. Overall, I thought that the interview was a lot of fun and really helpful.
