on Buddy meeting marble mazes!
on Today we met with our buddies this time we did marble mazes. Marble mazes are a cool thing to make in your free time expecially because the are fun to play with and are related with science. So before we started we had to come up with an idea. My idea was very complicated it had different levels so it could travel faster. It was so fun but even more fun doing it with our buddies. I was having some trouble finding the materials because everyone and everything was scaterd out. I new this was going to be challenging and fun and I was right my buddy and I helped each other installing were everything goes on our plate marble mazes. That was one of the challenging parts it was a plate so it was hard to put everything one and the material of the plate is plastic, plastic and glue (i was using glue) don’t really go together so when I glued down the pipe cleaners and the rest of my materials would not stick our stay on the plate all because of it’s material. It was still very fun how could it not be I was hanging out with my buddy Neil. when Neil and I were done we said goodbye and said that was fun and went back to our classrooms and that was the meeting with my buddy.
Immigration blog post @WE ARE DONE!!!
on In my immigration group we finished everything including editing it is so cool to see how all this work concluded into a such awesome project. There were so many cool parts to this to this project for example the research was really cool because I got to learn what it was like to be a immigrant or learn.
Immigration filming
on Immigration filming had many many parts to it. From the filming to the editing to the redoing thing over and over. Overall I thought it was challenging and hard work. It had it’s fun parts though like setting things up and getting stuff done and being successful.
The easiest part about making the video was probably doing the voice over the reason that it was so easy was because we had our script ready to go.And we got that done really fast. I think we got it done so fast because we were all working hard and we knew what we were doing.
Immigration Stop Motion anamation
on For the last couple of weeks I have been studying immigration, I am with a group with two other people. Together we have studied immigration and wrote a script so we could film a stop motion animation which my group is on know. Stop motion animation is a video were you take pictures of something and you take a picture of it and move it and then take a picture of it and so on till all of the pictures come together as the something that is walking/moving.
But in this project there is a little twist. Our “something” has to do with immigration. My groups project is based on the difference between immigration now and back when Ellis Island was still operating.
snow day
on Before the phone call that we heard we had no school we got a lot of phone calls one of the phone calls was from my baby sisters school saying that she had no school and then the word finally came out no school says the district guy. The moment later and i picked up my phone and it started dinging like crazy everyone sending things about how happy and exited the are that there will be snow day and the next day it all began. It was so much fun I did not step out of my house once yesterday. I made so much slime did some homework and played so much video games. I made really awesome slime, it was so good we made a full bucket of slime. I played a lot of Xbox basketball I played as the caves and beat the pacers. I also did some worldly wise homework and that was definitely the best part of the day! I also watched an awesome movie called the toy it was awesome and funny. I also stayed in my pj’s the whole day and that was definitely a highlight of the day also.
Expert lecture #7
on Yesterday the coolest person came to our class to talk about his job ms.Boyer’s former student. He works for google and he was here to telling us about his job. He has the coolest job. They have so many cool things at google, at google they have nap pods secret rooms in the library and rock climbing wall and even a five star restront and they can do it when ever they want and it all comes with there jobs which means free. If i was there it would be pretty cool. His part in working at google is not to play with all the grown up toys they have there that would be just dumb but cool to have a job just to do that. He works on google classroom, google classroom is a website that belongs to google in google classroom there is the teacher and the teachers class the teacher gives assignments on his/her computer to send to the kids on the websites. I know all of this because that I use google classroom with my class in Spanish class. Google classroom has a lot of different parts to it would be way to much if he worked on the hole thing, he works on the part that when you share something with another website it works smoothly.
If I was rich this would be my house
on If I was rich my house would be huge. People would say the crazy things like do you have a shark and I would say yes. My front lawn would have a fountain my back yard would have a nine whole golf course a soccer field a baseball field and a outside basketball court. One more thing a launch pad for a helicopter. And of course a Olympic size pool with a outdoor kitchen a and a fire pit area. When you come in there is the stairs to go up stairs and there is 25 bedrooms 28 restrooms and 3 dens. I would have rooms that are named every color and everything in the room is the color of the name of the room. In the garage I would have 20 cars 10 collectors and 10 new ones some Lamborghini some Farari Mercades Benz, mazarate. When you go down stars that is when it gets interesting you walk down you see 10 doors down a hallway the first door a indoor basketball court second door indoor pool third door soccer turf field fourth door batting cages fifth Lego room sixth a winery seventh mini ice rink eighth door tech lab with every electronic device ever invented Ninth door a movie theater Tenth door lazier tag. In the attic there is a man cave a bowling alley 6 Xbox’s a slide that goes out of the attic window and goes into the pool outside the last thing is a secret door which is the worlds biggest trampoline park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Expert lecture #5
on In expert lecture five one of ms.Boyer’s friends came in her name is Jackie. Jackie is an macanical engineer. She does cool stuff with not cool stuff like making an instrement with paperclips and rubber bands.
She talked about her and how she got to were she was now. Her college and creations on the way. She explained some of the more scientific way of what she did because we are in school.
She wanted us to create something so she gave us some materials and taught us how to make kazzoos it was really cool though the noise was really annoying but it was fun and that is expert lecture #5…

on For expert lecture #2 olivia’s mom came in to talk about her proffetion. She did fundrasing, orginizing fun raisers for kids and people who are not as lucky as us. So she taught us how she did that what materials she used to make her job a little more easy’er to her.
After telling us about that she told us too go and make our own fundraising comitee. I partnerd up with two of my friends in my class. Our’s was going to be about helping kids that have trouble with school extra help after school. And we got those details and thought up of a name and we did it simple. That is Expert lecture #2…
