Today, November 17, 2016, we had a class visitor. The visitor was Rania Palaniappan’s dad. He came to speak to my class because we’re starting to invite parents to come in and talk about their hobbies or jobs. Rania’s dad is finance. He was talking about how he takes people’s money and trades it. He taught us about other countries currencies. He said something that my class found funny. China’s old bills used to have words on the bill that said, “if you copy the money you shall be decapitated”. He also said money used to not be the most valuable thing in someone’s financial life.  It would not be money it would be food, because salt was more important than money back then (1800s). My dad has a similar job as Rania’s dad so I learned more about my dad’s job also.

So right now in school were doing rocketry. Its been preaty difficult though its really fun. The members of my group are Me,Harley , Drew , Taj and Lana . My Team made great procces since the start. Although theres been some bad thing like incorect measurments and other things like that are desire to finish were on a high level. One of the biggest jobs ive done was taping and measuring things. Two people who were really helpful were drew and lana. One big thing that ive learned was why the rocket should or should not be that light heavy or tall.

This afternoon I was working on publishing my personal narrative called “the golden game” by me of course. I’ve been working on this piece for about 2 weeks. I really think when I finish and post it people who read it will really enjoy it and feal like there in my experience.

My favorite things in reading is the social issues book club and also I really love to listen to Miss Rickard read the read aloud book. My favorite math unit is decimals because decimals is only different from regular numbers because the have a little dot called a decimal between the numbers and we + and – them. In social studies I really enjoyed learning about the 1600 and 1700 hundreds I like to learn about history of the country i’m living in also that it was the time of the american revolution between the 13 american colonies trying to be independent from it’s mother country Great Britain. In that we did colonial day which was so much fun there was a group of people who came to our school and taught us some things that different kind of people did in those times and the y gave us a thanksgiving lunch. My favorite thing in writing is when she let us free write and write stories or about things that we did so that I could express my feelings or what I want to say in the form of writing. The thing I like best about science is the stream tables we did many projects on the stream table my favorite on was trying to stop the houses from over flowing.In art I really enjoyed everything that we did. Spanish was pretty cool to I learned a lot of Spanish when I go to mexico I will use it. In p.e. I really enjoyed playing whoopee kickball. In chorus and music I like to sing,it is quite enjoyable to me.

When Mr.Casal said soon the whole world can see your writing I was shocked that we are going to have are own blog that the whole world will able to see with almost everything that i’m doing school. I was freaked out that anyone was going to be able to see  anything that I write on the blog in the click of a button the whole world will be able to see this and all the other posts that I do. When I got a chrome book this year I knew it was going to be cool and fun to have my own computer,and I thought we where going to use to write on and print stories write on a piece of paper but I did not know that we where going to write things and then share it with the world when he said that I was like NO He’s just kidding about this but when he started to talk about iya bit more I knew he was series. When Knew he was series I was a bit scared. At first I thought OMG he is going to let us do this I thought he was just saying stuff  but he started talk about it I thought well,this actually sounds pretty cool.
