I learned  to talk to the audience and convince people about my opinion. It was challenging because  it was a new unit about writing persuasive speeches. The most effective technique I learned to convince the audience was to think about who I was talking to.  I wrote it in a way that they would be persuaded.

When I watched the video of myself I cried. I cried because I felt embarrassed.  I think I persuaded my audience because I was taught very well by Ms. D.. She came to my table and worked with us. What I would do differently to convince my audience is to speak with more feeling. Overall, I enjoyed the unit very much.
