Mr. Calvert came in the classroom and gave us our Chromebooks. We get to keep them until we are in 5th GRADE! I’m so happy! Chromebooks are super fun, and they have very cool websites and they are really fun! I think I’m a wiz at computers. Once on the Chromebooks, we got to see other people’s blog and I chose Emma’s blog! Her blog was awesome! She wrote about Frankie and Fanucci’s pizza! And I loved what she wrote! I love the Chromebooks!
In the class Mr Calvert came and he said we were going to get are very own chromebooks! I was really excited. I had so many questions. I wondered what we were going to do with them. Unfortunately we could only could use them for school work. And if we broke the rules of the AUP our chrome books privileges would be taken away. It is going to be a fun year !
I like instrumental music because we get our own mouthpieces and I want to be with Mr. Weber because I will play the trumpet. Also I played the baritone and I enjoyed it so much.
We are learning musical instruments in school. I want to learn cello. I want to go to orchestra. I think it is fun.
On the first day of school my mom walked me to my class and l met some new friends.In the morning the teachers introduced themselves.Then they told us about the class.They told us what we need to do if we need help and they told us more things also. And then they read us a story.
In school we do instrumental music. I play the violin. My violin is small and the inside of the case is green. Last week my teacher was Ms. Elkhatib. We did instrumental music in the auditorium. We were on the stage. It is one of my favorite specials.

I like instrumental music because we play a lot of instruments. We play the violin,cello,baritone. And when we grow up we get to choose if we want to be in the band or orchestra.It is fun because we get to play a lot of instruments.I am really looking forward to playing the violin and cello.
Now that I am a third greader we all take instrumental music. This helps you pick which instrument you want to play in fourth and fifth grade. Everyone is supposed to pick an instrument. Right now me and some of my friends are learning the violin in orchestra.I want to play the trumpet in band.
In instrumental music we learned how to play the violin.We’ve only done plucking so far.We learned rest position. Ms.Elkhatib kept saying’’room for one piece of cake’’. I got violin number three. We only got to sit down twice.
In our class we worked on a S.T.E.A.M challenge. A S.T.E.A.M challenge is when you make something with a group. In S.T.E.A.M challenge we got one piece of paper and we worked together to make the longest chain in the class. I worked with my table. Each table had their own color. Table 1 was pink, table 2 was blue, table 3 was green, table 4 was orange, and table 5 my table was purple. The point was to work with your table. Our challenge was to make the longest chain using one piece of paper. Our strategy was to make it skinny and long. We each had a job. Mine was to attach, Emma’s was to glue and Noah and Lorenzo’s was to cut. We finished and then we saw a lot of fat chains so we took them off and made them skinnier. We got second place. I was so excited!!!!!!!
