A Day On Coffee Pond

This is my personal narrative. In our first writing unit we learned about endings, leads and using dialog. I had so much fun with this unit. I wish I could do it again I chose this story because  I listed  people that are special to me and a thought  of my dad  and I thought of this story. This is my first blog post so I hope you like it!

Hmmm… I was thinking if my dad will look different?

It was father son day, the last day of camp which means the dads come and do all the activities with the kids. I can’t wait I said in my head.  It took awhile but my my dad came and we went to the bunk to get our bathing suits on. Then we went to the lake but there was a line for the tube so while we were waiting we played lacrosse.

When it was our turn, Spencer and I went on the sides of the tube and my dad went in the middle of the tube. Before we started we told the guy to go fast. The guy said, “Ok I will try.”

Right after that BAM we’re off. It was hard from the start!

It was a beautiful  lake. I saw so many waves and other boats taking other people water skiing. We also saw people on the other side of the lake  going tubing and they fell off and we almost RAN OVER THEM!  We went around once without someone falling off. Then the second time it got bumpy because he made it slow and then it got very fast and MY DAD FELL OFF AGAIN!

Then we turned around to get him but he couldn’t get on so we had to pull him on! When he got on we started again and I said “don’t fall off dad!”

He said, “I’ll try not to.”

Then I said to “lean back or else the tube will sink.”

Then right after that we were off!

It was not that hard because we were probably going back to the dock I thought.
But the guy was just trying to make it bumpy! THEN MY DAD FELL OFF!

When we turned around to get him he got on easily. Then we went back to the dock. When we got on the dock I hugged my dad and said “I missed you so much during the summer!”
