Plant Experiment Reflection #1
In class Ms. Luciano is teaching about plants. We have groups and all 6 groups got to choose what science experiment they wanted to do. My group wanted to know what will happen if we don’t give plants sunlight. Our group’s hypothesis would be right or wrong. With our control plant it has everything it would need to grow. The control plant has seeds, soil, fertilizer pellets, wicks and water. This was my our hypothesis: If I don’t give my plant sunlight then it will probably survive it is still getting water it needs to grow because plants need water to survive.
In our experimental group, my group has seen some changes during the past few days. But my experimental plant has not been doing well. It is drooping, stems crinkled up and it is not growing as well as the control group. The plants are yellow. It has fewer leaves and no buds. The plants in the experimental group are tall because they are trying to find the sunlight.
In the picture you can see the experimental group is very tall because the plants are looking for sunlight. The control is growing normally.
