IFly

As I slid down the bench I get more and more nervous. I saw people in the tunnel having a fun time and enjoying themselves.

I started thinking about the last time I did this. I remember I was on a cruise that had IFly too. My family and I wanted to do it. So we all tried it. I remember watching my family fly up in the air like birds soaring through the sky! My little sister, who was six, didn’t want to do it. I wanted to do it! So when it was my turn I stepped in the tunnel and it was so LOUD! I tried to remember what the instructor had taught us. There were signals that we needed to know.  Now I had  forgotten     them and it just looked like the instructor was making cool movements with his hands. I was wobbling too much so  he took me out of the tunnel early. I never wanted to do it again!

Even though I swore I would never do it again,I was waiting for my turn to fly at my friend’s birthday party. My friend hugged me from behind I didn’t look back because I was too nervous to even look. My Mom, whispered in my ear “I know you can do it,” before she left. Then I heard the instructor say “Who’s next?” I looked around and saw that I was now in the front of the line! My palms got sweaty and sticky. My legs  became weak. I didn’t know if I should go or not . Everyone before me had gone and did great. I would feel left out and seem like a scaredy cat if I didn’t go. I then slowly stood up and walked toward the wind tunnel blasting with air.

  1. I really like your piece of writing. First of all I like how at the end of Your story you have a little cliff hanger. I am anxious to know what will happen next! Second of all I like how you have a flashback in your story. I really think it made your story stand out. I also like your tittle. Great job!
