The reason why I chose my question “How did the 14th and 15th amendment change lives for African Americans in this country” is because I felt like it was really interesting learning about how it was for African Americans back then, and how they suffered and how they thrived. I also was really interested in the question because I can’t imagine how it must of been like for African Americans back then, and I really want to try to understand what it must of been like for them.
