Hello and welcome to Andrew’s Articles! today I will focusing on my Rube Goldberg Machine Progress.
We can Start by discussing what a Rube Goldberg machine is. A ” Rube Goldberg” machine is fancy for saying, ” Simple Machine”. The Following are examples of simple machine:
Pulley, Inclined Plane ( RAMP ), Wheel and Axle, Screw, and Lever.
These Names should not fool you though. They’re as simple as, a Inclined plane being a simple ramp. a wheel and axle is a basic wheel. The axle is there to support the wheels movement. If the axle is absent, then the wheel can’t turn normally. Without the axle, a wheel is useless. A lever is practically the same as seesaw contraption.
A Simple Machine is a basic tool which assists you when trying move a object from here to elsewhere. its helps do this more easily by magnifying our efforts.
A Rube Goldberg machine is built to supposedly accomplish a task. Of course, there aren’t automatic, ” make your dinner” or, “clean your bedroom” Rube Goldberg machines. Because Rube Goldberg machines are made to complete easy, short, non-complicated tasks, not long, extended tasks.
I’m very excited about this project. I have some high hopes and not so high ones. We have 8 steps all planned for this. I am also happy to be working with a partner. I feel it will be easier to complete the project with a partner, instead of by myself.
