Working On My Final Product ( Capstone )

Hello and welcome to Andrew’s Articles! Today we are going to be talking about my final product for my capstone project.

For my presentation, I’m doing a movie. When I saw the other options of presenting, to be honest, a shiver briskly went down my back. I HATE PUBLIC SPEAKING! I honestly do not know why. The idea of a TED Talk or an Ignite ( which actually was rushed ) sounds pretty scary for a guy like me.

As you know, my topic is runway excursions. Honestly the other options, well, they just didn’t fit. So my movie is about 5 & a half minutes long, and I THINK that I did a good job on it. I first made a presentation plan, which guided my work along the way to make sure that I wasn’t just throwing in random slides to the movie. I included some fundamentals. For example, some examples of a runway excursion, factors leading to a runway excursion, a little prevention to runway excursions, I talked a little about my interview, and somewhat of a brief wrap up.

When I first started the crafting the movie, I was throwing in things about my main inquiry question, my sub questions, I then later realized that all the hard work I spent on that, was complete trash. That’s when I added the brief wrap up.

Probably what shocked me the most about doing a movie, was how many pictures you needed. I had like 40 – 50. Our purveyor of geekery, advised that 50 – 60 pictures was probably going to be the case.

Overall, I am happy with my project. My next blog post will show the final result.

That’s it for this post folks!.
