In persuasive writing I learned that you must focus on one thing. if you don’t it won’t make any sense. You need to write your name smaller than the title. I learned that you have to talk to the audience. You need to persuade the reader. You can’t do any wishy washy words. You need to write something new.
Some thing that someone invented to solve problems and make life easier is called technology. A pencil helps you write on paper. It makes it easier to write and to send letters to somebody. It is made of wood and graphite. Before pencils people used ink and a feather.

An update on our plants past the last 2-3 weeks:
Past the last few weeks we have been noticing a lot of things like FLOWERS!!!! And we replaced the manipulated quad cells with sand!
Controlled: Our controlled quad is doing good! We had to manipulate our controlled quad into new soil. But we did not manipulate it into sand
For our first day for plant groups! We had 4 cells and 1 wick in each cell and the we did that for another pot then we put a little bit of soil in all of the cells for each pot and we used fertilizer pellets seeds so they grow quicker. Then we put more soil to cover that up and put seeds on top and our teacher will not tell us what plant it was
My question is what will happen if we use sand instead of soil? My hypothesis was that if we use sand instead of soil it will not grow at all. We had 2 pots we put sand for the manipulated and another pot with soil for our cuntroll. After the first week, we had buds and flowers in both the control and manipulated.

Today was the second day creating a maglev train. We figured out what we did wrong. We realized the track was too wide.
We put 4 strip magnets on 1 side of the track and 4 strip magnets on the other side of the track and 1 strip magnet on 1 side of the vehicle and 1 more on the other side of the vehicle.
Today we tried to put rocks on the train but we failed today. We messed up a little bit on our maglev train, we tried to put a little magnet disc in the middle of the train and it did not do well. We need to keep on trying until we get it right.
Our track was too wide the train kept attracting so we put the track closer to the train and it levitated and we were successful. Next time I want the rocks to stay on the train!!
I picked baseball because I love that sport. I love to play it because it is my favorite sport. I go to lots of Met games. I am a Met fan. When I go to the Met games on Fridays they give you a free T-shirt and if you go on another day you can get an action figure.
I raced inside to my baseball practice at ProSwing. R and I went upstairs to the bathroom and then HE PULLED a string to the fire alarm.
Reid said, “Uh oh, what did I just do?”
The alarm went off up stairs and we got scared by the loud siren and we zooomed down the stairs but thank god the alarm was not on downstairs. Then a quarter through the class the FIRE ALARM went off downstairs. We had to go with someone to the front desk and sit down on a red bench with tears rolling down his bright red cheeks and then…they brought me to the front desk.
My dad was on the phone at the desk. He had no idea what happened but then my mom came in and talked to my dad. My mom got mad at my friend.I did not want her to get mad at him because he’s never going to have a play date again. My mom did not care what I was saying she just kept yelling at him and he did not like it. Then my mom told us to take her upstairs and show her exactly what happened! In the bathroom, Reid pulled the string that people pulled when they can’t get up from the ground. Then we went downstairs and the firefighters came in yelling, “Everybody out of the building RIGHT NOW!”
My mom said, “ YOU STARTED THIS!”
I said in my head,”OMG GOODNESS GRACIOUS MOTHER !”
Then we left the building my two friends, my mom and I hid behind a car. My mom called my dad. A woman from the place came out and took us inside to talk to the police. My friends and I were crying. We were so scared. Reid talked to the police and then I talked to the police. The police officer was very nice to us! We got my friend’s bag and went home. When I got home I walked in with my head down and stamped up the stairs and SLAMMED MY BEDROOM DOOR BEHIND ME and sat down on the floor!
