Summary: On Friday March 15, many kids from over 80 countries including Malaysia, The United States, Hong Kong and Germany plan to skip school and protest. This worldwide strike is not against homework but to convince the government to take immediate action the climate change. All of this Started by a teenager named Greta Thunberg. Greta was first introduced to climate change when she was 8 years old by a video of plastics in the ocean. Greta said ” I remember when I was younger, and in school, our teachers showed use films of plastic in the ocean.” Over the next few years Greta evean convinced her parents to reduce their carbon footprint.

 

personal responce: I choose this article because I thought it was interesting that young Greta was protesting for climate change. I also thought it was cool people got to miss school!
