Spring Break

4th Grade, Free Write

Next weak is spring break! I am going to the Cayman Islands! I have never been there but I’ve seen pictures and it looks so nice and beautiful.  I am going with my cousins, aunt, uncle, other uncle, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, and two brothers. We are all staying in the same hotel and I can’t wait.

I am going for 5 days and I will probably going to the beach and the pool every day. One of the best parts about most vacations are the restaurants. I also love playing on the beach. My favorite things to do on the beach are either playing in the sun or going into the ocean

Colonial Book Reflection

4th Grade, Reading, Social Studdies

This year I made a colonial times informational book about colonial girls. The project was long but successful. I really liked this project because I got to learn a lot about the colonial times and I got to do a google slide show. Google drawings also were really helpful for this project. This project was also interesting because everybody’s slide shows were different in there own way.

The order of the process is pick your topic, research, draft on the computer, final draft then, revise! Revising is very important.  It took a very long time. 2 months. Everybody worked really hard. I hope you enjoyed my reflection and learned the process of how I wrote my Colonial Book!
