Math Problem Mania!

Well hello again! Ready to do some math? GREAT!  We are going to start simple: Can six be made up of threes and fours? Yes, it can be made up of two threes. So, what’s so cool. Well, try any number over five. Can you find a number that can not be made up of threes and fours?

Let’s try a few:

18 = 3 x 6

25 = 3 x 7 + 4

56 = 4 x 14

49  = 4 x 10 + 3 x 3

17 = 4 x 2 + 3 x 3

27 = 4 x 6 + 3

If you still don’t believe me, try any number. Amazing, right! So, let’s get harder. Solve: 6 / 0. How many zeros go into six?

The answer is that endless zeros go into six! We call this NaN. Not Number! So, let’s go to the hardest! Calculate the area of a triangle which height is 5 and base is 12? Hint: A = (B x H)/2

That’s all we have for now! Feel free to comment your thoughts and answers! Singing off – MATHinfinity,
