On a random Thursday in March, I went to Connecticut for a swim meet and I missed 1 1/2 days of school. Yay! I was one of the only people swimming the 500. My dad came on Friday. I had the most fun ever at a swim meet I when to NESC. Every night, my friends and I went to the pool, watched videos, and spy’d on the boys👍. The events I swam were the 500 free, 200 free, 100 free, 50 free, 100 back, 50 back, 50 breast, 50 fly, and the 100 IM. The events I did best in were the 50 free(35.33), and the 100 back(1.28). Whenever we got a personal best, we got to write our names on a shamrock. By the time the 4 days were over, the wall was covered in shamrocks. My least favorite event was the 500 free. I can’t wait to go back to Northeast Showcase next year.
