This week we learned all about atoms! Atoms are the tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny things that every single thing in the world consists of. For example, we learned what and atoms contain inside of them like the protons, neutrons and electrons. We learned about Voyager 1 and how it’s realllllyyyyy far out in space sending back images and information about the planets it comes across. I couldn’t believe that it’s 14,900,000,000 miles away from earth! We also learned about static electricity and how it’s made. Basically it is the imbalance between protons and electrons, the negative and positive parts of an atom. On Nearpod, there was this cool representation of what happens when your rub balloons on your shirt and then touch them to a wall. This week of technology was really fun and I think I learned a LOT from it.
