Narrative Reflection

Narrative Reflection

The play is one of my favorite stories because it was a good memory that happened recently. Originally I was going to write about my first hockey practice but then I thought I can’t do that because I don’t have enough information so then I settled on this and that was a great pick.

I really liked this narrative because it is one I put a lot of time into and really used some good descriptive words and figurative language. Something I like was how we did show not tell. For example,I was sweaty and butterflies were in my stomach. This means butterflies in my stomach means nervous without saying nervous. Some unique words I included where mitts or twig or even bucket theses are all different ways to say gloves, stick and helmet.

Something new was how we were able to get feedback on what people liked and what they did not like that could become better. This was helpful because people helped me edit and revise my story.

Something I thought unique was how we got to make our own cover. This helped really show what our story is about and give them a sneak peak on our story. In all, I really liked this story. I think it was something fun to tell them what it may be about. Elaborate on and make a great story out of all of this information I have .At the celebration it was fun how e got to go around and read other kids story I also liked all the dialogue that people put in to their narrative for example when I read my friend Jaden’s narrative I kept seeing him use one of the same action words which was puh puh puh I don’t know exactly what this means but I really liked it. In all I loved this unit and I hope we do more fun writing like this.
