Charlie Joe Jackson Guide How Not to Read Book Review

My Book Review

How Not to Read Charlie Joe Jackson Series

In the book How not to read it is about a kid who does not like reading and tries to avoid it as much as possible. He puts together 25 tips on how not to read, scattered throughout the book.

The format is short chapters with tips and ways on how not to read. The character in this book like sport so they also try to find ways to incorporate sports into school work.

My favorite parts are the tips because I feel like they are the funny part of the book.  I also like that there are short chapters because  everything is separated. I also like the ending because it felt happy for the reader and Charlie Joe.  I think the best tip is the last one, but I am not going to spoil  it for you.

I would recommend this book for boys and girls especially kids that do not like reading such as me . That’s why I chose this book.  Have fun reading!

Back to School Weird Kids Rule.

When I read Back to School Weird Kids Rule I learned about what make a good and bad relationship.  The characters taught me that you can have a good relationship all the time or you can have a good relationship that needs work.  Also I learned that sometimes you just don’t get along with people.

As a reader I am meeting different characters through the book through reading.

Back to School The Weird Kids Rule

AJ and Arlo had a bad relationship in the beginning of the book.  Towards the middle of the book the relationship go better.  When they got to camp the relationship got stronger.  At camp they had opposite day and AJ and Arlo and the gang teamed up against Ms Janie their counselor to do everything opposite.  Their relationship became strong because they formed a team.  They stuck together.

AJ and Emily always had a good relationship, but there is not a lot of evidence.  Except they hugged each other.

AJ and Jamey met towards the end of the book, they never had a good relationship.  They were always fighting with each other and they never agreed on anything.  Jamey was the counselor and he wanted AJ to just listen to him and his rules.

Big Nate and friends

Nate is the main character in my book. Nate is very funny. Nate hangs out with friends a lot. When he goes to school he has a lot of problems with the teachers and the other kids. There is a new kid in the classroom that is going to be friends with Nate and his name is Arthur. One of Nates problems is that he does not want to play Arthur in chess because he thought he would loose. The solution was that Nate decided to play Arthur anyway, because he thought it was just a game no bug deal.

summary of the stinky sock
