There were great and challenging times when I had to invent a Rube Goldberg machine. The best moment and time was when I finally got it to work and got to celebrate. I was so happy that if I could I would have thrown a bottle of champagne all over the place, I would have. In fifth grade, this was the hardest project I had to do so far. It was hard to be successful because it took a lot of patience on my part and that is hard for an athletic 5th-grade boy. The hardest part was setting up the dominoes. Why you ask? It was because they would just keep falling over and I would get frustrated even to the point where I would go throw a domino at my couch and wanted to quit for the day. One thing, I learned was the tennis ball was too light to push the lacrosse ball so I had to take it away. My favorite parts were when a part would work and when a part would not work because it would keep me interested to fix it. Another part I loved was when it finally worked and I got to celebrate. The video recording was fun I got to show my Rube Goldberg and got a good goal line slo-mo for when it went in. I think all the pictures also paid off as I can use them in my blog. Overall, this was a hard unit for me and I am glad I never have to do this again.
