The research that I found for my US Constitution project taught me a lot about our freedom of speech. The first website I found was a teaching lesson for teachers. I thought that it would make my research more interesting because it helps students learn more about their freedom of speech.  The second website was from a news reporter writing about all the BLM ( Black Lives Matter ) Protests and wrote about these people talking for everyone to here what they have to say. I think this website helps students notice that they’re are a lot of things going on in the world and that its important for us to use our freedom of speech. The last website I found talked about how we can have the Freedom to talk without fear of the Government. I think that is important because some people are scared of others opinions coming at their idea. I think all these websites help students use their freedom of speech for their own good. I hope that this research helped kids speak whats on their mind.

How can we exercise our Freedom of Speech?

I chose this topic because with all that has been going on in the world (the Black Lives Matter protests, the Presidential election,  the Covid vaccine) people need to feel comfortable speaking their opinion without worrying how they will be judged by others.
