As tech comes to an end, it makes me look back at all I learned this Quarter. I cat wait for Quarter 3 but I am very sad to be leaving Tech. I hope that Art will be very fun and I want to I say thank you to Mr. Calvert. Thank you for helping us and teaching us about tech. Thank you for everything !
Tech is one of the best classes yet this year! I learned about new machines, atoms, how to make Jewlery and how to laser cut. Tech teaches you a lot about how to use certain stuff and how to be safe when using bigger stuff. I made a lot of new friends and I can’t wait for Quarter #3! Thank you Mr. Calvert for teaching everything and being the best teacher ever!
In Tech, we made alot of cool stuff and learned about cool machines that you would use to make jewelry, laser cut and a bunch of more stuff. We made jewelry that we had to give to someone and laser cut signs and put whatever we wanted to say on it! Tech is a very fun class and im very sad we only have 8 days left!
Another thing we are doing in tech now is making wood cut outs with anything we want it to say. We can draw too for this project! I drew a Rolling Stones and an emoji! Tech is a very fun class with a very fun teacher. I can’t wait for all the other projects we will come across!
In Technology, we learn about so many different machines, group projects and so much. Another thing I learned is how cool Mr. Calvert is. He helps us with whatever we need and is always there for us. We even did a escape room to help get the safety goggles back so we can do all the other fun projects. Overall, Mr Calvert has one of the best tech classes, no cap 🧢. “Mr Calvert Is my fav person on earth” – Carlie Koch Popham 6.
I have learned and grown in coding in way I never thought I would. I learned new and old things and I learned things I didn’t even know about. I am so happy I was able to be in Mrs. Cronks computer tech class because she has taught so many things and it has helped me grow with coding. So one of the many things I want to say is a thank you to Mrs. Cronk for teaching us so much. I am so happy to have you for my first quarterly. Thank you for all the help these past 2 months. Whoever has Mrs. Cronk next is very lucky. Thank you!
Technology is a way for kids, adults and students of all ages can embrace their creativity and express how they feel. It’s also a good way for kids to learn new ways to build and create. Most students have trouble embracing who they are or what they believe in and technology helps them create and think of what to build for the world to see who they really are. Technology is also a good way to invest where you can build new products and create new things that can help the world. As you can see, Technology can make a big change in a persons life and can even help make the world a better place
Underwater dreams talks about the dreams these students have had for a long time. The only thing that was stopping them was that they were Mexican. They were immigrants who had moved from Mexico to America for their own safety. They went to Crawl Haden School and lived in a not so wealthy area. They’re school did not have a lot of money and didn’t even know if they were going to go to college because of their lack of education.
That’s when they got into robots. They have seen other schools perform their robots and win competitions. They would build and build until their robot was ready to test. There were times when it was hard for them because the schools they went up against were wealthy and had spent alot of money on the robot. But that never stopped them so they spent hours and hours on the robot and when it was finally ready, they had to test it to see whether it would last or not.
In conclusion, Underwater Dreams shows viewers that you shouldn’t give up on your dream and when something goes wrong, try and try again.

After a few months of working on this project, is close to coming to a end. This project took me a while to do all the research and even longer to put it all together.
The first part of my capstone was thinking of my main inquiry question. I chose to do How has Youtube changed the makeup industry all over the world? The second step was my essay. My essay was all about my main inquiry question and I put in a lot of my information I found while researching.
Another step was the slides. The slides took me a while with finding photos and fixing up my script. The next step was practicing my script over and over again. Everyday, I have been presenting in front of my class and they would give me feed back on my project. The last step now is rehearsing and then recording my project. I cannot believe how close we are to finishing our last project of Elemantry school. I can’t wait to see how this comes out in the end and even more excited for all of you to see it. This will be my final blog post for Capstone and can’t believe it. I can’t wait for all of you to see the final project. Bye!
