A maglev train is a magnetic levitating train, and magnets repel the magnets on the train so the train floats. Our group thought that we make the maglev track like a regular train track but with magnets, but I told them that I was in the maglev club, and they changed their idea and changed it into how the club did it. There were four ring magnets on the car (ring magnets are magnets that are shaped like a donut), and two strip magnets on the track (strip magnets are magnets that are shaped like a thin rectangle).

Today the project I made worked! I used the way my club did it, and it worked! The only thing that failed was that the magnets were on the wrong side. It was hard to switch the sides but I did it!

I was very happy with my car and my group too. It was very fun. The floating to the end of the track thing was pretty hard, though. I liked to tape the magnets on the car/track because it was very easy. I really had a fun time with my group.
