THE BALL PIT

This is my personal narrative. In our first  writing unit we learned about  the heart of the story, leads, and paragraphs. I chose this story because I really enjoyed the color factory. This is my first writing piece on my blog  that I ever published.

One day mom rushed to my room and said, “Wake up we are going to the Color Factory!”

I jumped out of bed and went to the car. When we arrived to the Color Factory in New York City, at the corner of my eye, I could see a massive Ball Pit!

I was so excited to jump into the ball pit, it looked so fun. I almost screamed, my  eyes almost popped out of my eye sockets and my legs almost fell off. I could see everyone having fun I just wanted to sink into it and never come up!

My brother Mark said, “We could play hide and seek.”

Mark was the seeker. I jumped into a big pile of balls it went so deep that I went to the very bottom of the it.

Mark couldn’t see me so he by accident stepped on me.

“OW!”

“Sorry!” Mark said. “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

Then I saw a camera on the ceiling so we had to scan a card to take a picture. I sunk into the pit, but then I got up in time.

“Click,” went the camera. The camera shot that was bright I thought, so did Mark, but then we went to the middle to take a rest for a little and…play again!

For a minute I thought, “Where did Mark go?”

Then I saw some hair sticking out of the ball pit and I thought that hair looks just like Mark’s.

Then I was right that was Mark’s hair. “I found you,” I said proudly. Why were you over on the other side of the ball pit when I am here?”

“I was hiding,” he said.

“Well are we done playing for today?” asked my mom.

I said, “Yeah I think it’s time to leave to.” I sunk into the ball pit I was so tired I said.”

That day was so fun I said to Mark. He also agreed that it was fun too.

“ I hope we can come back at least a different day,” I said.

My mom said,” Maybe.”
