Last night was a crazy math night! I was doing my division homework with my dad, who is a math teacher. My dad teaches middle school math. We started with the first question in my math workbook. Then all of a sudden my dad was telling me how to do division. I was feeling a little upset that my dad was telling me how to do my math work.  When I said ‘’No, that’s not how I do it,” he was not happy.  So I showed my dad how I learned how to do division, and he said “No, that is not how you do it.’’ Now we were both getting frustrated. After a lot of fighting my dad emailed my teacher so she could show us how we were supposed to solve these problems. After my teacher responded to the email, my dad understood how we were solving division problems. What a crazy night that was!
