Today in Mystery Science we learned that glass is made when you heat up sand so hot that it melts and becomes glass. This makes me wonder if other things can turn into other stuff when you heat them up.

Today in Mystery Doug we learned about why flowers bloom in the spring. We learned that they bloom in the spring because in the spring, all of the water from the ground gets into the flower and goes up and once it is at the top, it makes the flower bloom! Basically, you could say that flowers bloom because of water. This lesson made me curious about how water can move up things even with gravity.

Today we watched mystery Doug and 2 things that i learned about germs is that when they are dry, their outside breaks and the germ dies. Another new fact i learned was that different germs don’t even look alike. for example, the video showed a picture of the germ for the flu, and one for strep throat, and they didn’t look anything alike.
