As you know people need water to survive. This mystery Monday was about a man who was stranded on a boat with nothing but fishing supplies, you may know that us humans can not drink salt water because of the amount of salt that’s in it and humans can only drink fresh water and there’s only %1 of fresh water in the world that crazy. But today’s question was how do people get water from underground, I can answer that question. As you know when it rains the grass is all wet but it doesn’t quite dry the water goes underground and when you dig a hole in the ground all that water is sitting there waiting and that water is fresh water you just have to filter it. Today January 28, 2020 my class and I went on an adventure! That adventure was a trip to NYC. Once we got to school and the bell rang around 8:35 everyone was in a rush to get to class especially mine because my teacher had told my class that the bus leaves around 8:45 so we had to move quick. Then when we got on the bus we had to stay in the bus for an hour and a half because thats how long it took to get to the Staten Island ferry. Then when we got to the Staten Island ferry my class and I were very excited. Once we got on the ferry we went to the outside and looked at many cool places such as Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty and many more. Ellis Island is the place where I have a project on, when I saw it my mind just clicked and at that second I just could envision all the things that happened at Ellis Island. On this trip I was able to learn a lot about Ellis Island and had a lot of information on Ellis island to add into my project. Then after all that we went to South Street Seaport and ate lunch there it was so cool, but sadly after all that fun my class and I had it was time to go so we got on the bus and went to school. This is faze three of the NY explorers project. Me and my group have been working very hard on this project, this faze was about the rubric if we are a practitioner, expert, and novice in this faze we had a rubric and looked at all the stuff on it once we did that we checked our slides/presentation and saw what we didn’t do. Then once some kids were finished they had to time each slide, each slide had to be 15 seconds long but not many people are up to that part a.k.a (timing). That’s all for faze three!
