Read Aloud Reflection – Wonder – 2

This blog post is the 2nd in a series of blog posts about the book Wonder.

A precept is a rule about a really important thing. My precept is “Knowledge not shared remains unknown” from the book Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein. It means that you should share knowledge and what you are thinking so everyone can know it, and it’s not lost.

I think Auggie feels sad that he was stared at at school and tried to keep it in but at night it just all burst out. Because during lunch, he was stared at and he said he knew it. And also during class when Ms. Petosa paused for that millionth of a second, he must have felt so different, like he was in a new frontier. Even though he kind of was. Then at night, his mom read the gloomy part of the book and he just let it all out.
