Last summer, I got on the bus to Fernwood Cove, Maine for summer camp. During those 6 hours, I watched 3 movies, ate lots of candy and slept a lot! Before camp I made my first camp friend, Tatum. We rode together on the bus. I also met my camp sister, Kaitlin. It was her last year at the Cove, so I won’t see her next year but I still have her email so I can talk to her. When I got to camp I met my 3rd friend, Lucy. We were all in the same bunk (Puffin), so we went to the bunk together ( with Lucy’s help because it was her 2nd year and our 1st year 🙂 ) In the bunk, we met our counselors, Kaya, Michelle, Louisa, and Romario. The other kids in my bunk were Cate, Amelia, and Naomi. We had lots of fun together. Some of my favorite things about camp were Carnival, Color Wars, Campfires, and Bunk Circle. My friends tell me that the food at their camps were not good, but the food at my camp was the best. It was so good that it was even better than my moms food and my moms food is really good and so is my dads. I think that my camp is the best because of this one reason. When you are there, everyone makes it feel like home.
