Justin has 520 more U.S. stamps than Canadian stamps. To get this answer, I first did 1,200 – 860 and got 340. I did this because 1,200 is the total amount of stamps and 860 is the total U.S. stamps. Then I subtracted 340 from 860 and got 520. I did this because I needed to know how many more U.S. stamps than Canadian stamps he has.

First I did 1,200 minus 860 I crossed out the 1,000 and turned the 200 into a 12. I crossed out the 12 and changed in to a 11 and crossed out the 0 and turned in in to a 10. then I subtracted 0 and 0 and got 0 then I did 10 and 6 and got 4. T hen I did 8 and 11 and got 340 then I did 860 subtracted by 340 and got 520.

To salve the problem i first subtract 1,200 from 860 because i thought if i added i would get a number to high. So i thought that if i subtracted i would get the anser for Canadian stamps. Then i subtracted 860 from 340 and i got my anser. and my anser is 520.

Justin has 520 more US stamps than Canadian stamps. To get this answer, I first subtract the US stamps from the Canadian stamps. I subtract because you have the total and a smaller number and that mostly means you’re going to subtract 1200 – 860 and that equals 340. After that I subtract 860 – 340 and that equals 520 you’re answer.

Justin has 520 more U.S stamps than Canadian stamps. To get this answer, I first did 1,200 – 860 because we need to know the number of Canadian stamps. Justin has 860 U.S stamps and Justin has 1,200 stamps in all. 1,200 – 860 = 360. Then I did 860 – 340 because we want to know how many more U.S stamps than Canadian stamps are there 860 – 340 = 520. Then 520 is our answer.
