Samantha walks a total of 2/3 of a mile to get to and from school each day. Write an expression that can be used to find the total number of miles that Samantha walks to and from school over 5 days. Then evaluate the expression.
Mr. Rodriguez baked 9 trays of carrot muffins. There were 35 muffins on each tray. Mrs. Williams baked 150 whole grain muffins. How many muffins did they bake?

Today your focus will be on the importance of your role in your colony. Use the following questions to guide your research and writing. You should start a new google doc to write about this.
Maker Friday: Go to this link for Design Squad Nation. To create specific projects with limited materials, click on the build tab with the scissor icon and choose Stuff Spinner. There you can choose the category you want to explore and the materials that you’d like to work with (choose what you have around the house). Then hit spin and wait to see the amazing project ideas that pop up. If you create anything, email me a picture or upload it to Drive!

Hi everyone! Today we will be trying something new called FlipGrid. I am sharing instructions for it in your Reading Folder in Drive.
Work for Today:
FlipGrid: Look at the FlipGrid Tutorial I shared with you in your Reading Folders in Drive and follow the directions to make your own video. I have also shared another doc in your reading folder called “Rago FlipGrid Code“. You will need this code to log in.
Colonial America: Write a little bit about the tools you use to do your chores or jobs. Describe them and include labeled drawings. If you do not have your notes with you then you can look up more information online by going through the Heathcote Databases.
Reading: Read the passage “Tag – I’m it” and answer the questions. I have put this in your Reading Folder.
