Plant Experiment Post #2

My Control plant has been growing over the past 2 weeks.  It is now 10 cm tall! It is light green and growing up and bending to the right!!! There are three stems in each quad, that means twelve stems in total.  Recently, the control plant grew some buds! The buds are blooming the seeds for the next plant.  The plant has been growing about 1.5 cm per day.  All of this started as a seed!

My Experimental plant has been growing slowly over the past two weeks.  Its measurement is currently about 6 mm.  The plant is kind of red and kind of green at the same time.  There are four stems in total.  two in cell 1 and two in cell 3.  There are no buds.  One of the stems is bending and the other three stems are growing up.  The experimental plant is growing really slowly.  Three has not been a lot of change over the last two weeks.  All that has happened is germination and sprouting.

I think the difference between the two plants is because the gatorade has sugar so the plants had to separate the water and the sugar to absorb the water.  Also, the experimental plant isn’t growing as well because of the sugar there is less water in the gatorade, so the plant is not getting as much water as it needs.  I also think that the experimental plant is kind of red because it is absorbing red colored water.
