  1. I learned that Veteran’s Day is important because it is more than just fighting. It is important to thank veterans. I will hang a flag on Veteran’s Day.

  2. I learned that when you love our country, you would hang a flag on your house. The way I would honor Veteran’s Day is by hanging a flag outside of my house.

  3. After I read the book, I learned that Veteran’s Day is on November eleventh. I will thank a soldier for fighting in the war if I see a soldier on Veteran’s Day.

  4. I learned that veterans get medals for their service. I think that is very important because veterans should be rewarded for their work. I even think they should get money. I will honor Veteran’s Day by hanging American flags around my house. I learned a lot about Veteran’s Day and my dad will probably teach me more, which I look forward to.
