Remember to plan out your day. Do an assignment. Take a mental break (go outdoors, listen to music, play a board game – whatever you need.) Then come back and tackle another assignment. That seems to be the best approach and one where you can get the most out of your day!

Poetry Lesson #4
Notice how line breaks are purposeful and meant to draw your attention to certain words and force you to pause in your reading. As you look through poetry and even write your own, note how line breaks you see or line breaks you create help the reader focus on the important ideas, words or patterns in your poetry. Grab a pencil, record some poetry and then share what you have written on seesaw! I can’t wait to read it!

Social Studies: Document Analysis
A first hand account is when someone who lives in a particular time writes about his/her own experience of an event. Some examples may be diaries, telegrams or letters. Remember that many people attending the same event, may retell the event differently from another person’s experience of that exact same event. Therefore, listening to and reading about the same event from many different sources helps us to understand history more fully!

Science- INTRO TO WEATHER
Use one of the weather links below to check your local weather forecast. Do you see some of the features mentioned in the videos from yesterday? How does that compare to the weather in places around the country? Choose two US Cities to quickly compare to Scarsdale. Write a few sentences telling what you noticed. Take a picture, label weather, date and put under science.
