Soon, I will be sharing our class padlet for you to post your original poem to be shared with our Heathcote community. The poem you can select can be one of the poems you have written over the course of this unit OR one that you have written prior to this unit.

Poetry Lesson
Today you will be learning about how to write a cinquain poem. Watch the video and read about cinquain poetry in Epic. I have assigned the book, “Cinquain Poems” to you, so please check the mailbox at the upper right hand corner and read the text.

Math: Subtracting kilograms and grams
In this video you will learn how to subtract kilograms from grams. You will learn three different strategies to solve these problems. Listen carefully to each strategy and you will choose which method works best for you.

The Water Cycle Part One Slides are in your science folder. Have fun exploring the water cycle and be sure to copy and paste the vocabulary slide to the science section of your E-Learning slides to complete the activity.
The slideshow has been shared with you in your Science folder. It is titled “3L Water Cycle 1”. On the slideshow, you will read through the slides and then click on the “Interactive Water Cycle”. On the introduction video above, Ms. Boyer has instructed you how to utilize this website and then answer questions onto the padlet I created for you. The padlet’s link is on the slideshow. I will be checking over what you have written.
