Math: Comparing Capacity

Watch this video first to recap our work from last week and move into our new unit of study. Can you guess what that might be?

Watch this video to learn about another measurement called capacity.  Capacity is the amount of liquid a container can hold.  You will watch a demonstration how different containers can have different shapes and sizes and a variety of capacities.

Copy and paste: WB pages 37-39

Print option: capacity wb37-39

Look around your house for different containers. Can you find the capacities and can you compare them? Show us what you learn today and post on seesaw. Remember to ask an adult if it is ok to do this and be mindful with your water.

Science

Weather & Climate Part One Slides are in your science folder.

Please watch the video in its entirety so you’ll be prepared with all that you need to enjoy this learning opportunity with Mystery Doug. You’ll learn how to spot a storm and create a booklet that highlights different types of clouds. This is a two day assignment, it is due on Wednesday.
