I liked this Tynker project because it taught us how to combine music and animation in a fun way. It also helped me improve on making characters move and interact with their environment. I liked the animation because every time you tapped one of the characters, it would move and make an instrument sound, which gave the appearance that it was playing its instrument, which I thought was pretty cool. For my soundtrack I chose a remake of “We Will Rock You”, and liked this track because it is a song I like. It was cool to make a music video using character “playing” it.

In Tynker, I learned about how to animate a character to walk forward and take actions. In it, In was also taught how to make it smooth and add texture to the scene through things such as sounds and music. I like that Tynker is an easy and fun way that makes it quick to learn and easy to get into. But the code gets a little cluttered sometimes, and it becomes hard to find blocks and parts that you want to use.

I made my About Me project today. I used a character I made that had no body, just kind of floating clothes. I thought that was kind of cool, which is why I used it. I did use the “wait ___ seconds” block quite a lot, as well as “animate ___”, “say ___ for ___ seconds”, and “switch background to ___”. At the point I made it, I hadn’t done much Tynker yet, but I had done a little so I incorporated stuff like walking, talking, and coordinates into it. Overall, I enjoyed Tynker and hope I can use it again soon.

In the video Computer Science is Changing Everything, the part where the woman talked about creating a program where you can design and buy fashion was really interesting, because it shows how you can do just about anything with the internet. It also really proves that computer programming takes up a lot of our lives in this time, and it is an important skill to have because with it, you can create things that people will look and and use all around the world, and you will be able to share your joys and passions with people around you through creating things on the internet. I never thought that you could make a difference online, but now I know that this way you can make a big impact on the world around you.
