I’m Thankful For My MOM !!!

Who are you thankful for? I am thankful for my mom because she takes care of me, she plays with, and she reads to me. The first reason I am grateful for my mom is because she takes care of me. For example, last night she laid with me and tickled my back until I fell asleep. The second reason I am grateful for my mom is because she plays with me. For example, this weekend, we had a football catch in the backyard. The third reason I am thankful for my mom is because she reads to me. Every night she reads me books that I like. My mom always has fun with me, relaxes with me and reads to me. I am so thankful for her.

Captain Underpants

 i am reading a great book in the Captain Underpants series. I usually love Dave Pilkey’s books because they are about funny robots and aliens who do funny things. One is called Captain Underpants and the Sensational Saga of Sir Stinks-A- Lot. The P.E teacher built a robot that gives off a gas the makes kids love school. The series is funny because Captain Underpants always does funny things like the time when he slapped the mime in the face because he thought he was saving him from being stuck in a box.. This part was even in the movie and it was just as funny as it was in the book.

 

Place Value Is Fun !!!

Place value is when each number has its own value and place that is why it’s called place value. For an example, in 462 the four is in the hundreds place the four is worth four hundred, that is it’s value. Another example is in 9,700 the value of the nine is nine thousand, also the seven is seven hundred.Another example is 456 in the ones the 6 value is 6.
