This week in class we worked on finishing our cams, and starting our cranks. Since I had already finished my cam, I was also able to finish my crank. The process was very similar to the process of the cams, but I had a hard time on some parts of this one since it was a little harder than the cams were. To make a crank, instead of cutting everything out and then putting the pieces together, I cut as I went through the instructions. This was easier than making the cams because I new what pieces were numbered and didn’t have to search for the correct one. After cutting and gluing the different pieces together, I had to glue them into place. One thing I struggled with was making sure every piece was glued in the correct way. Finally, once I figured everything out I had a finished crank!
